Caprice bought the rights to Debbie Does Dallas The Musical during 2006. This is the first time she is producing a hit musical production. Caprice also stars as Lisa.

Caprice On Stage and Screen

She made her theatre debut starring in Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologuesin London's West End, for which she received rave reviews in the press.

She went on to take a lead role in the worldwide hit musical Rent in London which ran for a sell out three-month season at the Prince of Wales Theatre.  "She has splendid comic timing and she can belt out a number with the best of them" - Hello Magazine.
Following her critical success on stage Caprice signed a two picture deal with a GFT Entertainment. She co-stars with Vinnie Jones and Brad Renfro in the film Hollywood Flies.

Caprice has made a variety of television appearances including presenting the MTV European Awards, American Music Awards and An Evening at the Oscars, both live appearances on the ABC Network.

For UK/European television, her credits include Caprice's Travels on Sky and ITV1, Friday Night's All Wright with Ian Wright on BBC1, as well as Channel 4's The Big Breakfast with Johnny Vaughan. She was also the star of her own documentary Being Caprice for Channel 4 and did an hour long documentary on prime time Channel 4 called Celebrities Disfigured.

She's made two independent films The Perfect Woman and Pinocchio Effects, both due for international release in 2007.

When Caprice ventured to England from Southern California she quickly became one of the most photographed women in the world, appearing on over 300 magazine covers across the globe.

Caprice is fast becoming known as an astute businesswoman.  She fully finances, markets, designs and models her own exclusive lingerie range, By Caprice Lingerie, which jumped straight onto the best selling list at Debenhams in the UK. Currently over two million British women are buying Caprice underwear every year.

Due to her success she expanded her range to three countries including Germany, South Africa and the United States.  Caprice Lingerie has a deal with Edgars in South Africa.

Future

The success of her By Caprice Lingerie brand is expanding worldwide. Deals have been secured at Nordstroms (America), Otto Versand (Germany), Debenhams (UK) and Edgars (South Africa).

She plans to further expand her brand to include swimwear, Too Cute Caprice which will be launched in the UK in 2007.

Her dream and passion is to make By Caprice Lingerie one of the most successful  lingerie companies in the world.

Jacques captured hearts of South African women of all ages during the 2003 M-Net Idols competition. This blond Capetonian with his unique voice has since been a busy boy. His rendition of Frank Sinatra’s hit songs has made him a house hold name among Ol’ Blue Eyes fans.  Apart from the Idols CD, he produced his first album Jacques EQ in 2005 and has recently released a second self-produced CD, JACQ Revealed, with numerous self-written R&B songs.

Tanya studied at AFDA Film School, majoring in film acting and has been featured on television in Hard Copy II, One Way and Snitch II. She is the Miss Bikini World South Africa 2006 Ambassador.

BRANDON AURET
Kevin
Brandon graduated from Pretoria Technikon in 1994.  His career has been one that dreams are made of having starred in musicals such as Buddy, Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Summer Holiday.  Television programmes include Isidingo, for which he won a Crystal Award for Best Actor, One Way and currently Angel Song on M-Net. Last year he shot his first international film, Catch a Fire starring Tim Robbins, and will be released in South Africa in February. 

FEM BELLING
Donna
Fem is a multi Vita award-winner for her roles as Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, the Narrator in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Gumby in Cats.  After playing Dora in Leon Schuster’s feature movie Mr Bones, Fem crossed the oceans to London where she has been working for the past three years. After the UK National tour of Annie Get Your Gun, Fem made her West End debut as Betty Blast in Footloose-The Musical also playing the roles of Rusty, Ethel and Vi.  She created the role of Donna in the UK premiere of Debbie Does Dallas in 2006.

TESSA DENTON

Since graduating from Pretoria Technikon, Tessa has been involved in a number of corporate shows as well as musicals.  Her theatre works include Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Let’s Rock, The Rocky Horror Show and most recently Grease – the musical.  She has also appeared in Janice Honeyman’s pantomimes A Lad ’n A Lamp and Jack and the Beanstalk as well as TV productions, 7de Laan and Hillside.

ALAN FORD
Tim
While studying his BCom degree at Wits, Alan began his entertainment career as a radio traffic reporter.  Later that year “Chubby” became a popular radio talk show host on Talk Radio 702 and Cape Talk. A highlight of his career was being chosen by Dr Nelson Mandela to be the International Youth Ambassador of the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund.  He is currently the senior producer of 3Talk, the popular TV show on SABC3.

BUSISIWE LURAYI
Tammy
Busi studied film at AFDA and trained in Latin American and Afro-fusion dance at MID. She was nominated as “Best Newcomer” at the Naledi awards in 2006 for Shreds & Dreams and won the Golden Horn for her role in City Ses’la.  Busi has appeared in leading roles in both E.R and BBC’s Wild at Heart.  Other theatrical credits include That’ll Be The Day, Sarafina and Pata Pata.

PIERRE VAN HEERDEN

After working in retail for five years, Pierre studied musical theatre at the Waterfront Theatre School.  He made his professional debut in the original South African production of Cats. Other theatre credits include Eddie in The Rocky Horror Show, the vulnerable and moving Amos Hart in Chicago – The Musical, Janice Honeyman’s pantomime Goldilocks and The Three Bears and Roger in the musical Grease.  Pierre has also appeared in numerous international and local television adverts.

HELEN DESBOIS

Helen is an all-round performer with thirteen years experience gained on stage and television.  She toured with diverse productions such as Ben Elton’s Popcorn, Madonna – Immaculate and Shake Your Bootie.  She has also starred in Jervis Pennington’s Sexy and the City and alongside Paul Slabolepszy in the adult panto, Puss in Boots.  Her favourite musical was the acclaimed Boogie Nights in which she played Debs, the female lead.  Her singing career took off as a result of playing the part of Samantha, a pop singer, in the television series Honeytown II.  She has released several songs and has been nominated for a SAMA award

LEILA MOUNTFORD

After graduating in Musical Theatre Training from the Waterfront Theatre School in Cape Town, Leila packed her bags and headed for Johannesburg.  Theatre credits include Macbeth, Little Women, Pygmalion, Tongues & Photographs, to name but a few.  Television roles include Isidingo, Jozi H and One Way.

STEPHEN VAN NIEKERK
The Guys
Hosting the Coca Cola Popstars Roadshow was the catalyst for Stephen choosing a career in acting.  Television roles include Snitch, Egoli, Backstage, Home Affairs and KykNet’s Dit Wat Stom Is.  He made his theatre debut with Terence McNally’s Love! Valour! Compassion! and Joe Parker and Paul Slabolepszy’s adult panto.  He was a featured extra in Femme Fatale, alongside Antonio Banderas and Rebecca Romijn-Stamos.
